I am a professional, award winning composer based in central London. I have experience teaching composition, music theory, academic music, piano, violin, and offering support for GCSE and A Level Music.
I have experience of teaching all abilities from complete beginner to degree level, and all ages from small children to adult learners. As an active creative artist, I believe in encouraging creativity and independence of thought from the very beginning, whilst ensuring both technical rigour and a genuine desire to learn.
I graduated with a Masters Degree with Distinction from the Guildhall School of Music and Drama. I have also studied at King`s College London where I gained my Music degree with first class honours, the Purcell School of Music, and the Royal Academy of Music Junior Department. I have worked as a composer and conductor with many of the UK`s leading orchestras and ensembles, including the London Symphony Orchestra, City of London Sinfonia, Britten Sinfonia, and the BBC Singers.
