About Jacqueline

Experienced Mathematics and Physics Tutor

I am patient, calm and approachable and have a great love and enthusiasm for teaching. I have a flexible style of teaching which addresses the areas the student needs help but concentrating on these particular topics. I can also assist with homework questions and exam preparation.

I specialise in Physics and Mathematics, as well as more advanced subjects such as Calculus, Linear Algebra, Classical and Quantum Mechanics, Electricity and Magnetism, Optics, Probability Theory and Statistics.

I have taught physics and mathematics from elementary school to university level for several years. I have conducted tutorials in Canada, the UK, for GCSE and A-level as well as university level students.

I have also taught physics as a university professor in the US where in addition to formal lectures and laboratory sessions, I helped some students with learning difficulties achieve their goals.

I graduated from University of Oxford with a doctorate in particle physics, University of Toronto with B.Sc. in mathematical physics and University of Waterloo (Canada) with a Masters in mathematics of finance.

My son was trepidatious about the tutoring session but when it was over he was relieved and really pleased and already more confident. He is looking forward to having the ongoing support. Thank you, Jacqueline.

Great Tutor

Written by Mohammed K
Jacqueline is a great Maths tutor. Her knowledge in the subject is vast and can make the most complex problems seem easy by breaking them into small steps and tacking each step at a time.
