About Izabele
I am a professional tutor with 2 years of experience, teaching students of all ages, specialising in Mathematics, Psychology, French and Spanish. I first started tutoring in Lithuania, teaching students English as a Foreign Language and helping them with UK and US University applications. I later began teaching children and tutoring students across a variety of platforms in the UK, including online lessons, University tutorials and charity organisations. I pursued this passion for teaching whilst studying for a Psychology degree at university, where I researched the science of cognition, including learning techniques, attention, and memory. I am truly passionate about teaching students as it allows me to not only to transfer the knowledge essential for excelling in their careers, but also to help the students be in complete control of their own learning, achievement and personal goal pursuit.
I believe that focus, determination, and confidence are key to anyone achieving their academic potential. I aim to not only provoke a student’s curiosity in a particular topic, but to inspire them to work hard and trust their abilities across academic disciplines. I believe that any student is capable of excelling given the right tools and techniques, so I always aim to understand each student’s strengths and weaknesses and personalise my teaching methods for every individual.
