A level and GCSE specialist - native French teacher
Do you need some help with your upcoming GCSE or A level exams? I am a fully qualified teacher and have taught in the UK and in France for the past 5 years at secondary and university level, including at Science Po.
I am currently teaching part-time in a secondary school in London (A level), I am therefore familiar with the requirements of most exam boards. I have tutored children and adults for many years in France and in the UK. I am a caring, hardworking, reliable tutor. I believe in building a strong student-tutor relationship so that the student feels confident enough to talk openly with me about whatever might be affecting his/her education. I create a positive learning atmosphere to ensure that my tutorials are enjoyed and rewarding. Strong emphasis on role play, pronunciation and vocabulary building techniques. I always bring along a copy of my diplomas/teaching qualifications on the first lesson. I look forward to discussing your needs. Please do not hesitate to contact me if you need additional information. I look forward to speaking with you.
Je suis un professeur certifié (CAPES) avec 5 ans d'expérience en France et en Angleterre en collège, lycée et université. N'hésitez pas à me contacter pour des renseignements!
Please note that I charge a higher rate (£60) for group lessons.
I also offer IELTS preparation, essay correction and interview preparation.
I tutor from home only at the week-end (Hampstead village on the Northern Line).
I've started french from scratch and Isabelle knows how to teach. Lessons are entertaining, fun, versatile and encourages you to use the language as much as possible. She's good at focusing on the details of the language and pronunciation. Ive done 12 weeks with her and ive leant a lot and she help me having the confidence to express myself without any problem. I would definitely recommend her.
In 12 weeks ive learnt lots of vocabulary, done of conversation not knowing anything about french

I contacted Isabelle four weeks ago because my daughter was struggling with her upcoming A-level exams. Isabelle is very methodical in her approach and has given her the given support and confidence she needed. She is always punctual and arrives well-prepared for the lessons. We chose her specifically because she was a qualified teacher.
