I have always passionately believed in the importance of learning a language and hope I can inspire my students to feel the same. I have recently completed my PGCE and NQT in French and Spanish and became a qualified teacher in the summer if 2017.. I have been teaching French and Spanish GCSE, year 10, 9, 8 and 7 and am very familiar with the schemes of work and I now work in a prep school teaching Common Entrance and 11+ And primary so I am familiar with all age ranges.
Having graduated from the University of Bristol with a degree in French I moved straight to Paris for just over 3 years during which time I worked in the world of PR and Communications. I had already spent an Erasmus year there when I worked for a newspaper and tutored a number of children of varying ages helping them with homework and preparing for tests. I have always enjoyed working in an educational environment and have spent several months abroad volunteering.
I hope I can draw on my experience of living and working in France to create an exciting learning environment for any budding linguists!
[The classroom] is a very natural environment for her and she adapted well to different tasks. She really helped with behaviour management, she has good subject knowledge and a great rapport with students.'
