About Indy
As a Sociology Subject Specialist I have over 9 years experience of teaching AS/A level Sociology (AQA syllabus) with students achieving excellent high results. I am familiar with the requirements of the new specification following changes introduced in 2015. My focus primarily is to identify student's specific learning needs and tailor my teaching accordingly. I use a range of teaching methods to enable students to quickly grasp the key theoretical content of the course with exam practice central to this approach.
My approach is quite laid back and I genuinely have a passion for Sociology which I really want a student to engage with in a 1:1 session. Nonetheless I do have high expectations with students being organised, asking questions and willing to challenge themselves to achieve their true potential.
I currently teach full time in an outstanding school in Sunningdale, teaching A level Sociology and also am Subject Leader for GCSE Sociology. I have been tutoring for over 4 years now.
