About Imogen
Hi!
I am a fun, engaging tutor who works with students across all ages and abilities.
I currently work as a teacher of mathematics for years 7-11 and have previously supported Year 5 and 6 children individually and in small groups. As well as all subjects across KS2, I tutor in Maths and English up to GCSE, and Law up to A Level.
I work collaboratively with students to agree targets and create a plan of action, allowing individuals to take ownership for their learning. I have high expectations for all of my students, but balance this with a flexible teaching style which allows everyone to shine.
I have experience supporting children with SEN and have a good understanding of how to engage children with different needs and abilities. I am excellent at building relationships with children who may be disengaged with education: developing their confidence and interest, and sharing their pride when they succeed.
