About Imogen
I graduated in 2017 with a BA in English Language and Literature from Oxford University. My particular areas of interest while studying were Early Modern theatre and poetry and Post-War British Drama.
I see myself as an engaging and approachable person with good communicative skills and a passion for reading and for sharing my enjoyment of reading.
In 2020/21 I trained as an actor at Bow Street Academy for Screen Acting in Dublin which included voice-over and audio recording.
My teaching experience includes assisting music lessons at a primary schools in Oxfordshire. (I play the piano (8), violin (7), harp (5), and I sing). I have a lot of experience of reading with early years too, often through babysitting.
Recent employment has included bookselling for Waterstones and Primrose Hill Books where I developed excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
I am also a video and audio editor for which having a sharp eye for detail and a careful approach to meticulous work has helped.
I would be a dedicated tutor eager to share a passion for English and familiar with exam board requirements.
In my spare time at the moment I read a lot of 20th century and modern fiction, poetry and book reviews and articles.
