About Hugo
I have a Post Graduate Diploma in Education from UCL and a Modern Languages Bachelor's Degree from the University of Bristol. I am also completing an Education and Technology Master’s at the Institute of Education at University College London.
I am fluent in French and German, with a successful track record in education and EdTech within and without the classroom. As MFL Teaching Lead, I spear-headed our MFL response to online learning during the pandemic and base my teaching and learning techniques on the most up-to-date research in the field of pedagogy. I work hard to ensure that my students understand why it is they are learning the language and the culture that surrounds it. A culture must be understand and enjoyed for a language to be effectively learned.
I also have extensive international experience having worked for a variety of different employers in France, Germany, and India.
