About Hayley
Hi, my name is Hayley and I’m about to go into my sixth year of teaching. I currently teach a year 2 class. I love to help children learn and reach their potential. For me, I want children to enjoy their learning and have the attitude that they want to learn. Making learning fun and memorable is important to me as I believe that this helps children to learn and remember things. All children have different level of needs and work should be tailored to the individual.
Previously I have taught year 3 for five years and whilst at university I taught every year group. It is important to get to know the child and build a relationship with them to understand how they learn. I am always looking for new ideas and topics to teach, as well as having high expectations of myself and pupils.
