I like to see myself as a highly qualified yet down to earth tutor. With A*s at A-Level in both my specialities of Maths and Physics, I have the knowledge to teach any student anything they might need to know or brush up in areas where they struggle. This is especially to true for GCSE and A-Level subjects as these are the exact qualifications I obtained just a few years ago. In addition, I have directly used these qualifications to gain a place studying engineering at Imperial College London, so I can also help with how best to use these skills in that regard.
Whilst studying, I have also been tutored so I know from the best how to do it, and have dabbled in teaching myself with teaching students how to play tennis every Saturday morning for two years and helping my sister and girlfriend through their maths A-Levels.
Beyond tutoring, I play for the university's rugby 3rd XV and enjoy listening to indie rock music and going to gigs.
So whilst my tutoring would, of course, be focused on improving the student's maths or physics skills, I would also try and make the student feel as comfortable and relaxed as possible through the session.
Gives Confidence to the Student, as well as he makes it look easy when teaching something new to the student. I would recommend this Tutor, if your son/daughter is struggling at Maths GCSE.
