Maths made simple. Qualification achieved in no time?
As a mathematics teacher , I have interesting teaching techniques, methods and styles. I am able to manage and encourage young people with behavioural disorders to promote a positive attitude. . I have the patience and confidence to work with all types of students and I do have a proven track record of making young people want to learn. I have a Mathematics Open Degree(Hons) from the Open University and this is where I realised my true passion for Maths.I am currently a Private Mathematics Teacher for all age groups, and I enjoy sharing my knowledge and skills with my students. I also hold an Electrical and Electronic Engineering degree from abroad I would like to work as a professional in the UK education sector to both improve teaching standards and to motivate young people to enjoy Mathematics.
As a young child, my Maths Teacher inspired me to learn, and I would love to have the same influence on other children. I was also encouraged to become a Mathematics Teacher after seeing my students show a great improvement in their work. I am able to explain and solve mathematical exercises in simple and easy ways that encourage young people to learn. I have gained extensive teaching experience, beginning with my first teaching job in a cultural centre (abroad). I soon took on extra responsibilities such as teaching both English and Maths, managing the children, organising trips and planning lessons for all age groups. As a result, I was promoted to become the Activities Manager in the centre, which developed my leadership skills greatly.
Since 2006 -2008, I worked with Windows for Sudan (Supplementary Saturday School) as a Mathematics and English teacher where I gained great skills experience. I have also completed a voluntary teaching work placement in the Community Resource Centre (2006 -2010) where I was placed in different community schools and centres. My job was to manage and organise different activities for the children. Furthermore, as a private Mathematics teacher, my GCSE students have continuously achieved from grade A* to grade C.I have also independently completed different work placements in schools, which helped me become more familiar with the Mathematics curriculum and the ways Maths is taught in British Schools. Overall, my teaching experiences have developed my skills and made me a more confident teacher. Now I gained CET and I am doing a teacher training course( DET)part-time to make myself available for work. I am a teacher with enthusiasm and drive who wishes to work in a strongly academic college, which is committed to lively, student-centred teaching and a concern for meeting the needs of individual students. I am a blended Maths tutor with The Skills Network (Functional skills maths) and a Maths teacher and supporter with Pet- Xi(GCSE Maths).I am willing to take any new role.
