About Hannah
I am a qualified primary school teacher with 7 years experience and I would love to help your child increase their confidence, attainment and love for learning. Easing their learning path and overcoming exam worry, I tutor in a systematic way with the aim of achieving a higher grade altogether with increasing their subject knowledge. Together, we will achieve the results you want for your child.
Tutoring – a passion
My passion for tutoring stems from my keen interest in helping others – be it increasing confidence, teaching a skill for life or a particular subject – enabling others makes me feel accomplished. During my undergraduate and postgraduate studies, I tutored other students and provided coaching sessions too. I now have 4 years experience tutoring children outside of school.
I enjoy being creative and discovering new ways of learning. Making learning fun, finding and improving mistakes, as well as building resilience, is what I am really interested in. I am happy to tutor children who need an extra boost and push to achieve year targets, as well as more intense tutoring for SATS or testing. I have had a lot of experience with different age ranges and for different purposes; I will cater for you and your child's needs.
SATS- I have had 4 years in year 6 and understand exactly what is needed for children to feel confident with their SATs tests. Preparing children for the end of year 6 is a real strength of mine, which I hope you will see.
