Midwifery student, Maths GCSE/Primary and English Primary
I studied for my GCSEs at Tonbridge Grammar School for Girls and really enjoyed the ways of teaching and methods used to engage the students. I believe qualities including dedication, compassion and understanding are crucial in successfully teaching areas within maths and english. I achieved an A grade in maths and an A* in English and find teaching others about topics within these subjects hugely rewarding. I then studied at Tunbridge Wells Girls Grammar School for Girls and did maths at AS level and English at A level and enjoyed both although prefer the areas covered in GCSE. I am currently studying midwifery at St Georges and having decided to commute from home (near Mark Cross) next year, I am looking for flexible work to earn some money between days spent at university. I am given my timetable a month in advance so am able to commit to days to tutor in advance. I have babysat for several families over the past 3 years so have experience working with children. I live on a farm, so I have absolutely no problems with any animals and would love to be a tutor teaching subjects I loved when I was that age.
