About Griff
My approach to tutoring is flexible and every lesson is tailored to each student's unique needs.
I have over twenty years' experience as a teacher in mainstream settings and as a teacher trainer, specialising in the effective and imaginative use of technology to both engage learners and to accelerate progress.
I have a proven track record of success as a tutor working with individuals and small groups. I work with children who are struggling and with those who need to be extended and challenged in their learning.
I also provide support for parents who have taken the 'home education' route.
I have expertise in working with children and adults for whom English is an additional language. I worked for two years in Hungary shortly after I achieved Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and have continued since to tutor in EFL/ESOL, mostly through the use of webcams these days but sometimes face to face.
