Enthusiastic and experienced Music Tutor

I am London based Spanish musician, playing the saxophone, clarinet and piano. I enjoy exploring different musical worlds, which has led me to perform in a wide range of styles from classical to contemporary to experimental music to jazz. I also enjoy teaching students, as I am always keen on sharing the knowledge that I have acquired in the last 6 years of higher education. I also believe that I am good at communicating my passsion for music with other people and I hope to inspire you to follow your own musical path.

I studied with Rodrigo Vila and David Brutti, graduating with honours and the highest qualifications in the renowned International Saxophone Class of the Balearic Islands High Conservatory. I have recently graduated from the Royal College of Music, where I pursued a Master of Performance degree, studying saxophone with Martin Robertson and clarinet with Robert Hill as an RCM Scholar thanks to generous scholarships granted from the same institution, the Soirée d'Or Scholarship Award, the Diputación Foral de Gipuzkoa Scholarship and the Murua Balzola Fundation Scholarship.

As a soloist, I have performed in The Music of What Happens Concert Series, part of the Fruit for Apocalypse Emerging Artists Programme, ME_MMIX Festival, Placa[Base Festival and the London BaskFest, organized by the London Basque Diaspora. My performance in the 2016 RCM Saxophone Competition was “highly recommended”. In 2014 I founded the Inflexio Saxophone Duo with Sara Méndez. Since then, we have performed in venues and festivals such as the Royal College of Music, Royal Academy of Music, In tune with the Summer Exhibition at the Royal Academy of Arts, Victoria & Albert Museum, the Mallorca Saxophone Festival (Palma de Mallorca) and TMAO Saxophone and Composition Festival (Bangkok).

With an interest in orchestral music and the opera, I have performed with the Balearic Islands High Conservatory Symphony Orchestra and the Basque National Youth Orchestra. During my time in London, I have performed in the premiere of many operas, including PUCK by Benjamien Lycke and Mahlon Berv and a series of operas on the theme of Crime & Punishment, in conjunction with Tête à Tête.
