About Giliano-Nicolae
My name is Giliano-Nicolae Bazili and I come from one of the most demanding academic environments in Europe. The Romanian National College system and especially my class profile - one of intensive Math-Physics, Informatics and bilingual English - expect students to take 15-18 mandatory courses per year, on a yearly basis. In National Colleges such as "Moise Nicoara", only the best students are granted access and the workload is huge. This has, however, never hindered me from performing well in all subjects. Ever since my early childhood I have been fascinated by the mystery of numbers and their inextricable connection with the world we live in. Not much later on, I started school and Mathematics immediately became my favorite subject. Solving Math problems and helping other younger children and even peers has been my leisure most of the time. I have taken part in as many Math contests as I could in my country, gathering along the years a lot of prizes (more than 40 during middle school) not only in Mathematics but also in other Sciences: Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Geography. During high school I kept studying Math and Physics as my top priority and I represented my county not only at the National Math Olympiad but also in the Physics and Earth Sciences ones. At the National Olympiad of Physics I won the bronze medal for two time in high school, and the 4th place in the country, 5 years ago. I have always felt like being in a race both with the others and with myself. In fact Mathematics and Physics are magnificent spheres where the mathematician/physician can be a bridge between real world and abstract thinking. No progress of any kind is possible without it and that is why I would like to teach any children and teenagers ( from those who may struggle to the ones who are really good in these fields ) and share with them math tricks, problem-solving strategies, my whole experience from the 200+ contests I have participated in, and basically everything I know because I would like them to have a better understanding of how mathematics can be applied to other fields of activity such as economy, management and finance and, perhaps, to the top science and technology.

Giliano got in Imperial College London with very good exam results. He is very friendly and patient. He can explain complex scientific or general concepts very well while making them interesting.
I have met Giliano even since he was in high school and hence I had the opportunity to see how much of a talented person he is. He has always been pasionated by Physics and Mathematics and he participated in several national competitions being one of the best pupils in his country. Now Giliano is a proud and hard working student at Imperial College London. I admire him and I think that he is an extraordinary tutor. Giliano has the ability to quickly and accurately determine sources of a child's learning difficulties and I strongly recommend him. He is the best choice for your child.
