About Giles
I am an experienced and versatile tutor who has worked in several schools around London as well as privately. My love for Maths and English began from an early age learning to ad and subtract using London bus numbers, while also learning definitions by reading the dictionary.
I have worked in an entertainment capacity for an organisation, this included games, costumes and fun Maths tricks. As well as this I have experience working in after-school clubs within school curriculum and a more structured capacity.
I have a passion for firstly, guiding students through their studies and secondly inspiring them as a trustworthy mentor. Success in education is a mutual effort of an inspired student working hard and enjoying their studying as well as a tutor who truly enjoys their work and wants to see their students thriving in achievement!
My work being from a support and care background means I always approach every individual from a person centred approach. Rather than just to teach what I know, it's also my goal to inspire the individual to believe that they can achieve way beyond expectations and have confidence in themselves and their competency.
