About Gila
I am a versatile art and design and technology teacher with 25 years of teaching variety of different media and skills to wide range of people including primary schools children, secondary young student, adults and students with special education needs. I am confident in the classroom and I have different strategies to engage, motivate students as this wil raise their inspiration to achieve and make progress.
My main interest is in 3D design specially ceramics art textiles although I am qualified to teach painting, drawings and printing. I enjoy working in after school clubs and I feel strongly about making education fun for students.
I am a practicing artist and I enjoy trips to art galleries and hands on activities.
I enjoy working with students and 25 years working in public sector has developed my social skills. I also feel strongly about the well-being and safety of children in my care and I am committed to the equal opportunity . I believe every child matters and should achieve their full potential.
