She was my physics teacher for MYP and DP 1. I honestly had no interest in any sciences until she started teaching our class. I could enjoy her physics class so much because she was able to bring out the fun and interesting factors of physics, and at the same time help you understand the theories behind it. When I did not understand a concept, she was always willing to explain it in many different ways until I understood. Of course, thanks to her, my grades also went up along with my interest in physics.
Gerda has taught me for IB physics. I strongly believe that she is an amazing tutor as she has the amazing capability and the skillset for teaching physics. Gerda explains difficult concepts very well and also helps apply the learning to unfamiliar situations, something very useful.
She is dedicated, engaging, reliable, punctual, while patient. I believe that these qualities make her a great fit as a tutor, and for anybody willing to learn physics from her.I have known Gerda for more than 25 years and can testify to her commitment and enthusiasm as a teacher. She believes in making Physics fun and interesting and really understands how to engage young people in the subject. She is an experienced teacher who has worked in East & West Africa, South America, Indonesia, Holland and the UK. As an IB examiner she knows what is required to pass the tough exams and has helped lots of students achieve this and go on to pursue their dreams. Gerda is a great tutor and will give her best to help her students achieve, like all great teachers she has high expectations so be prepared to work hard.
Gerda is one of, if not the best teachers I've had. Every time I'm in her class I feel like I'm learning so much, so quickly. There's not a moment where I'm not paying attention in her class. She is one of the reasons that made me want to do engineering in college. I really enjoyed being taught by her and I know you will too.

Once again, as I had a successful experience with her, I wholeheartedly believe that you can as well.Ms. Buijsman was my physics teacher in IB MYP and DP 1. I honestly had no interest in any sciences until she started teaching our class.
