About Georgina
Hi, my name is Georgina, and I have been working as a teacher and tutor for ten years. After studying Chemistry with French (including biology and biochemistry modules) at the University of St Andrews, I started my career working with my other passion: languages. I have spent 10 years teaching English as a foreign language to students of all ages, abilities, levels and backgrounds, specialising in grammar and business English. However, I am now combining my extensive teaching experience and my science background.
I like to vary my teaching approach to suit my different students' individual learning styles. I am calm, patient, dedicated, and organised, and I love helping my students fulfill their potential for learning. I believe that the best path to exam success is to develop a love of, and curiosity for the subject, and I particularly enjoy helping students who feel they can't do a particular subject grow in confidence, ability and enjoyment.
