About George
Over the last couple of years I have tutored pupils of widely ranging abilities through CE, GCSEs, AS and A levels. It has been hugely satisfying to see pupils develop, especially those who I have helped over number years. I totally understand that maths can be a horrible subject that some people really struggle with and am as keen to work with people who are super bright as those who would rather be doing anything but maths.
Who I am:
I'm currently in my second year of studying medicine on a graduate entry programme at St George's in Tooting - I agree that this seems like an odd move following a philosophy degree with no science A-levels!.
Qualifications:
At school I took 3 A levels in maths, (taking all 18 of the possible maths modules) so feel well equipped to tutor this. Unfortunately I have not taught all of these modules recently so a heads up as to which modules we'll be doing would be really helpful so I can prepare in advance.
I won an academic scholarship to Radley College at 13 and would be very happy to help where I can - either with scholarship applications or preparation for Radley entrance. One of my pupils from the last few years has started at Radley this September.
