My name is Gary Ackinclose and i live in Whitley Bay with my wife Deborah and 2 daughters Lauren and Adele.
I was born on 26 December 1967.

My Hobbies are fishing; mountain Biking and Skiing.

I am DBS checked and happy to travel or if students prefer i have a working office. I am familiar with Skype also and have many distance learning students.
I am experienced in distance learning and use Skype for example both to assist law students and to communicate with clients in my work as a consultant solicitor.

I have practised law for approximately 22 years and teaching law for approximately 13 years. I have used my experience of law cases to support my teaching aids to help students with law research topics or to prepare for examinations from GCSE through to A Level to professional qualifications such as the Chartered Institute of Legal Executives.

I teach in Schools and Colleges and tutor on a 1:1 basis or by distance learning.

My qualifications are very much focused upon Law and include a Higher Education Foundation Degree in Education and Training (DTTLS); Post Graduate Diploma in Law (Commendation Pass).

I am a member and Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Legal Executives and an Accredited Mediator in Commercial Litigation– ADR group (London)

In 2015 i was invited by Northumbria University to sit as an Appeal Judge in a mooting competition between University students around the Country. The moot related to an appeal on pure psychiatric harm.

In 2015 I assisted NCG online as part of a team in an application for validation of a Foundation Law Degree course.

I have been described by many students as approachable, friendly and an excellent law teacher. My main focus is to help restore confidence and support and help students with law studies at all levels particularly in preparation for exams.

I consult for a local firm of Solicitors running a small Commercial Litigation caseload and continue to work as a law lecturer in schools and Colleges and tutor students through face to face tution and distance learning.

I have also covered:-
1. Personal Online Tutoring covering Paralegal Practice and CILEx level
2&3.
2. Presenting webinars for Level 3 and Level 6 Civil Litigation students
3. Presenting webinars for Personal and Corporate insolvency matters to
law students
4. Distance marking scripts
5. Dealing with problematic issues / questions raised by students in relation
to Civil Litigation matters
6. Setting up and attending conference calls to assist students on a 1-1
basis.

I continue to lecture Civil Litigation practice revision days Level 6 to assist students to prepare for forthcoming examinations. The students work in law firms and other law institutions around the Country and attend the sessions through CILEx Law College.

I assist the Chartered Institute of Legal Executives teaching "fast track" law students. I lecture at the law practice to assist the students with their distance learning course.

My additional experience covers:-
• Standardisation of marking grid for City & Guilds
• Internal verification of marking provided by other lecturers
• Advising generally the College on civil litigation matters

Great law tutor

Gary has been a face-to-face revision day tutor and a marking tutor for distance learning students following CILEx law and practice exams for over 9 years. He has taught students studying at level 2 through to level 6 successfully.He has help many students on their way to qualifying as lawyers! He qualified himself through part-time study and wants to help others achieve their dreams.

I have vast experience in all aspects of civil litigation; commercial litigation and employment law as detailed below. Utilising my 22 years of legal expertise and teaching qualifications / experience I specialise in now training businesses in credit control; review of contractual documentation.
I continue to work also as a law lecturer assisting students through distance learning; mark assignments through a portal facility and specialise in teaching both at professional qualification level and tutoring A Level Law students through the AQA examination board.
