About Galina
I am a third generation teacher of Bulgarian to natives and foreigners. My childhood memories are full of linguiscic arguments among my family members - Masters in Bulgarian or other Slavonic philology to the last one. You can be sure that my native language has another face - not only the tough grammar and crazy words - it can be a homey, warm emotion as well. Our culture is a mix of gentle souls and solid bodies, all combined by stubornness and strong will. Once you understand Bulgarians, their language becomes less of a challenge. The music of my ancesters is mesmerising, and so is the literature of the country. A visit to Bulgaria would be a once-in-s-lifetime memory and it is not expensive, and knowing some Bulgarian would unlock any door to the famour Balkan-Slavonic hospitality of my nation.
