Hi! My name is Gaby and I'm a grauduate tutor. I'm half Italian and have a real passion for languages, but am also happy to tutor English Literature at GCSE or A/S level.
I recently completed my undergraduate degree in French and Italian, during which I spent a year abroad between Siena (Italy) and Aix-en-Provence (France). I consistently achieved firsts in all aspects of language (speaking, writing, grammar, translation...). I received a faculty award for my high achievements and have had my work put forward for an essay prize with the Society for French Studies.
As someone who started languages at GCSE level, and having then worked my way through A/S, A-Level and Degree level, I know the challenges of learning French and Italian as a native English speaker! As such I am highly sympathetic and will tailor tutoring to your specific needs and areas of difficulty.
Above all, I want to help you find that click moment with the language! If you're interested in tutoring or have any questions then please feel free to get in touch.
I was awarded the 2017 Harrison Award at Royal Holloway, University of London - this prize is awarded to one exceptional joint-honours student from the whole of the faculty of arts and social sciences.
