Maths CAN be fun. An application or two, a joke and voila!
Hi, I'm Frank. I'm a final year student at the University of Leeds studying Maths and Philosophy.
I take it as my mission to help you understand whatever you're struggling with in maths. So it doesn't matter what level you're at, my desire is to help you master the skills you need.
I use images, and silly ones at that, to explain complex abstract concepts. Why silly ones? Because they're much easier to remember than abstract equations! And by making the lessons funny and enjoyable, more information will be retained from them.
And yes, I will give you homework, because with maths, as with anything really, practice makes perfect. But the homework will not be a lot. It will be enough to give you space to practice your skills, a training ground as it were - challenging and satisfying.
I am able to teach primary school kids as I have a DBS certificate as well as degree level 2 students as I am a year 3 student myself. Regardless of your age the aim is the same: your development.
Frankie taught maths for us and we were very happy with the outcome. He could teach up to secondary level as he is studying maths at university - he was very capable and an easy going character with a likeable demeanour. He was patient and well able to explain the various concepts.
Helped with a better understanding of maths in general
