Passionate Piano or Art teacher immediately available!

From a young age I have been extremely musical, learning the piano from the age of 4 and taking up Singing and the Flute at the age of 11. From then on, I was awarded music scholarships to both to my primary and secondary school, achieving Silver Music Colours in 2013 as recognition of my great contribution to the Music Department. I was also given the Hammerton Award for Music for exeptional musical performance.

Throughout the years I have won several music competitions, one of which being the Outstanding Performance Award at the Oxford Music Festival (2011) where I was later invited to perform in front of the mayor in the Hollywell Music Hall, Oxford. I have also been a member of the Singapore National Youth Choir (2016), performing as a soprano in Singapore's largest concert hall venue.

In terms of art, I have done an art GCSE and A-level, and have recently completed an architecture degree at the Bartlett School of Architecture where I was constantly pushed to think conceptually. After three years at the Bartlett, my hand drawing skills have been extremely refined and I have been exposed to various types of mediums.

Throughout my life I have been commissioned to produce illustrations by graphic design and interior design companies, also having my art displayed and sold in the leading art museum in Oxford, The Ashmoleon. I am also currently an illustrator for EYESORE magazine, a publication that explores and engages with architecture in the city.

I am a very friendly, enthusiastic and patient individual who will always commit to giving my utmost attention and encouragement to anyone who wants to improve in their piano learning or artistic skills. My approach to music tutoring is about encouraging confidence and grasping different ideas in engaging ways.
