About Fahad
I am a qualified chartered accounting (ACA) since 2013. I have completed a bachelors in accounting and finance from Dublin Institute of Technology and achieved a first class honours with exceptional results in financial reporting, management accounting, financial accounting and finance.
I completed a training contract with Deloitte and Touche as a senior auditor from October 2011 to April 2015 and completed my ACA from Institute of Chartered Accountants Ireland in 2013.
Following this, I worked with a pharmaceutical business as a financial planning analyst for three years in Dublin.
Last year I moved to the UK and started working as financial planning manager for another pharmaceutical business based in Slough.
Key achievements to date:
1. First class honours degree in accounting and finance.
2. Received a gold medal for obtaining an average of 78% in each of the three years of my degree.
3. Award from ACCA for achieving 97% in financial reporting during 2nd year of my degree.
4. Award of Institute of Chartered Accountants Ireland for achieving highest mark in financial reporting during the final year of my degree.
5. I gave tuitions during 2nd year of my bachelors degree to accounting and finance students in year 1 and resulted in first time passes.
I have had great teaching experience during my university years where I gave private tutoring in both accounting and finance to year 1 uni students and resulted in first time passes.
I take a thoughtful approach to my tutoring sessions and clearly plan the sessions in advance by going over the relevant material and understanding how to best explain the topics to students. In my past experience, I have taken the approach of practising as many exam papers as possible under time constrains. This prepares the students to be in the right frame of mind during tutoring sessions and also adds efficiencies.
I am very flexible in my teaching approach and have the capability of adapting to different preferences of students. I am fully aware that a single method of tutoring does not work equally well for all students and therefore, I can adjust my teaching methods and approach accordingly.
During my tutoring sessions, I like to make a clear plan of what we are trying to achieve and how we will get there. I have always performed very well in both accounting and finance exams during my university and professional exams and clearly understand the areas of difficulties and how to overcome these.
