About Emma
Hello,
My name is Emma. I am 27 years old and have been teaching full time for 5 years in the primary sector. Previous to a career in primary teaching, I was the manager of a childcare centre, volunteered at Yorkhill Children's Hospital and worked abroad in teaching English in Finland for a period of time. I have always loved working with children. I have always felt it was an absolute privilege to be part of their development and I have prided myself on building positive relationships with young people.
I currently teach full time at a school in the west end of Glasgow but live in the Southside so I can be flexible to travel to your home. I have taught across a variety of stages and levels, I am confident in planning and implementing supportive teaching programmes across all the curricular areas and have well established strategies to effectively cater for a range of additional support needs.
It would be a privilege to help your child build in their confidence and achieve to their highest potential.
