TESTIMONIALS FROM PARENTS

“Emma is an excellent teacher and was always on time. We would highly recommend her.” Anthony F. English Literature A-Level Retakes.

“We have been home educating our two daughters, aged 8 and 10, in order to accommodate their figure skating training. Emma tutors both girls in English and History. The girls find her lessons fun and interesting and we, the parents, are very satisfied with the results achieved in national test scores. We have essentially entrusted our daughters’ entire education of a core subject (English) with Emma.” Sharon D.

“Many thanks again Emma brilliant. She enjoyed her interview and said how helpful you had been- thank you for coming to the rescue”. Samantha S.

“Luke’s interview at Emmanuel went really well. He came out really chuffed and felt that he had done well. Thanks again for all your help.” Jules G.

Great encouragement my child wants to write on her own with out being asked purely because she now wants to do so. Great tutoring thank you

Great support and a good mentor have not seen my child so relaxed comfortable with a tutor before. I was impressed as my child has not stopped writing since as she used to when she was very small, I can see her working independently and she cant wait to see her tutor again this week which is a first.

Regards

Siobhan

Excellent and dedicated tutor

Kind and caring, Emma built up confidence with our daughter who approaches now her exams with a very different mindset. Emma also helped our 8 year old boy and challenged him in his English comprehension. Great results and very positive

Individual Approach

Emma has worked with our 10 year old son for 6 months. She has helped him really develop in confidence with his English skills - both creatively and on the comprehension side. She doesn't have a one size fits all approach .- she has responded directly to his needs. Her way of working is different to that of school which has helped him greatly. He enjoys spending time with Emma, even if work is not what he wants to do!
Subject:
English
Outcome:
Improved performance at school and a greater belief in his ability to "do English". His English exam at school showed the improvement.

Emma is a remarkable teacher. She has a wonderful way with children of all ages. Since working with Emma, our eldest son has made it to the top set in English. Previously English had been his most dreaded subject. She has also given our 7-year-old a huge confidence boost. He is now enjoying school.

I would absolutely recommend Emma as a tutor and would be more than happy to provide a telephone reference.
