After graduating from Durham University in 2014 and obtaining my CELTA TEFL qualification, I set of to travel the world, teaching English along the way. I worked at a bilingual Montessori school in Guatemala for six months as an English Specialist - Teaching native English speakers Primary level phonics and handwriting skills and the non-native speakers English as a Foreign Language. I worked with children between the ages of 3 and 16.
Since returning to London in April this year, I have been working as a private tutor. Primarily, I teach English as a Foreign Language with adults and children, and Primary Level phonics with children between the ages of 4 and 8. I also offer English Language and Literature up to A-Level. I am committed to establishing a positive working relationship with each of my students and increasing their confidence and ability in their subjects. I have seen fantastic progress in my students during the 5 months I have been working with them and I look forward to continuing my work with more students!
