About Emily

First Class Graduate, tutoring experience

I am an enthusiastic, confident and friendly 22 year old with a First Class Degree from King's College London. I have experience tutoring English A level and GCSE, as well as History and Geography GCSE. I have helped students achieve above their expected grades and get into their first choice university. I obtained 6 A*s and 5 As at GCSE and one A* and two As at A-level. I also have three years experience volunteering teaching young people from a diverse range of backgrounds.
I have a good work ethic and endeavour to pass on a positive working attitude to my students.
I specialise also in Exam Technique for essay style questions; I go through past papers with students and am rigorous in my background research of content material and both exam and coursework specifications.
I am currently flexible with hours during the week and can do some weekends.

Emily tutored me for a Humanities Access Course, resulting in me getting into my first choice university.

Written by Jessica H
Emily tutored me for a Access to Higher Education Diploma - Humanities and Social Science Level 3, resulting in me getting into my first choice university. I couldn't have done it without her, she was able to help with my essay writing technique and give me lots of exam tips.

Emily helped me with the modules: History, Power & Politics, English Literature and Ethics and I would highly recommend her.
