About Ella
I am a 25 year old Oxford University Graduate currently studying an MSc in Strategic Management at HEC Paris business school. In my spare time I love to play sport, play the piano and travel. I have a degree in Music and have achieved Grade 8 distinctions in both piano and bassoon. Through volunteering abroad in South America and working professionally Spain, I elevated my Spanish language skills from A level standard to fluency.
I have experience in a range of teaching environments - from teaching English and Music lessons to 5-10 year olds when volunteering with an NGO in Colombia, to giving one-on-one piano and music theory lessons for students aged 7-15. This has given me an important ability to both adapt to my students' personalities, and identify the most efficient learning techniques for each student.
My attention to detail is strong, enabling me to spot errors quickly and identify opportunities for exam 'bonus' points. I strongly believe in the importance of using past papers and examiner's reports when studying and am experienced in a range of revision techniques, allowing students to reach a high level of exam preparation.

Ella taught me grade 5 music theory and beginners Spanish. For both of these she was an amazing teacher, very kind and patient with me and explained things in very simple and understandable terms. She always recognised my limitations at each stage and helping me to quickly progress through them.
Ella helped me with improving my spoken Spanish. She was very understanding and constructive, and always came prepared with some great exercises.
