About Eli
Friendly South London art and design tutor available for all ages. Learning is fun and so i making!
I am an experienced tutor and previous baby sitter and organiser. I enjoy making and even more when I can share with others. I teach basic drawing and painting skills, as well as all kinds of craft, including embroidery, sewing, bookbinding, anything with paper, model making etc. I have studied art and art history, so making and the history behind the process always come together! I also teach Photoshop and Indesign! Knowing the basic rules of something gives the opportunity to explore and be creative!
SEWING AND CRAFTS
I have a long experience in sewing and other crafts. I have knowledge in fabrics, how they behave and why as well as good understanding of different sewing techniques. Hopefully we can work on your project together creating a unique pattern or working with an existing one.
INDESIGN AND PHOTOSHOP
I have more then five years experience working with both of these programs, mostly graphic design, layout, photo editing and manipulation.

I am willing to travel but might ask you to cover expenses. You are more then welcome to come to my place where I have all necessary equipment and materials. Note that I have two (very friendly) cats.
ABOUT ME
I am a friendly freelancer designer, who work across a range of sectors, but mainly carpentry and fashion. In my practice I combine materials, methods and processes, and try to work without limits, something I encourage my students to do as well.

Eli tutored me in woodwork and print design as I have been considering pursuing an art degree after completing my studies.
