About Edward
I am a Classics teacher (PGCE Cambridge 2015), specialising in Latin and Ancient Greek. I have just finished a Masters in Education and would like to tutor while I plan a PhD focussed on education policy.
I taught at two high-achieving independent boys' schools in London before completing my Masters in Cape Town and taught at an excellent selective girls' state school in Hertfordshire as part of my PGCE.
I taught one class their entire GCSE Latin course and more than half received the top grade. All my A-Level students achieved either As or A*s. I also taught Ancient Greek during lunchtimes and after school, but unfortunately moved to Cape Town the year before their GCSE exam, though I hear they did well.
During my Masters in Education in Cape Town I also tutored as part of the Classics Department at UCT, teaching a wide range of subjects to first and second year undergraduates.
