I am a PhD student, researching hormones and the brain at the University of Edinburgh. I would love to help students struggling with biology in school see how amazing physiology can be!
As a tutor, I will help you understand complex ideas, and put things into the big picture, why learning and understanding these concepts is important (believe me, many experienced scientists still appear to struggle with the simple "so what?" when communicating their research).
My experience in communicating science to a variety of audiences, from children (aged 6+), to adolescents, and to adults, has taught me the importance clear and concise communication. However, I always endeavor to simplify, rather than "stupidify". My own love and passion for science will hopefully motivate my tutees to understand the importance of biology.
