* Lived in South America for 3 years and went to an all Spanish speaking school (Spanish).

I am a recent University graduate from the United States that is able and willing to tutor in the subjects of history, philosophy, Spanish, and political science to high school students. I will make an assessment of students performance to ensure they will understand and improve their knowledge on their designated subject. I also have experience working in the United States Federal government and with the Israeli government, which has dramatically increased my understanding of politics and its role in the world.

Although I was only 17, I was also the teaching assistant for my high school teacher in Advanced Placement European History. I went on to attain a 5/5 score on the exam and have a sample of my work on the College Board website. The following link shows my sample essay, which is labelled as '2a', if you wish to review it.

I also teach history of the second world war.

I am also proficient in the teachings of ancient philosophy, specifically the pre-socratics such as Empedocles, Anaximenes, Anaximander, Zenos, Parmenides, Pythagoras, and Democritus. I received an 80/100 in my university course 'ancient theories of existence', which is an extremely rare grade in the humanities.

I lived in South America for three years and learned Spanish fluently, although I knew some of it to a degree beforehand. This is because my parents are both South American, so I became accustomed to the appropriate pronunciation of the language even before fully learning it. I also went to all Spanish speaking schools, not international schools, and excelled in all of my subjects. I know how people feel when they are learning a language so different from their native tongue. It is stressful, but rest assured I too went through that process and overcame it.

Pertaining to history, I believe the only way to truly connect to the stories of the historian is to visit those historical sites in person. I have become well travelled with the intention of expanding my historical understanding of the world. I believe my dedication and passion to all of these subjects will entice you to pick me as your child's tutor. I offer competitive rates, because my objective is to expand knowledge at an affordable price. Knowledge is the most important thing to success, and my mission is to ensure its proliferation throughout the world.
