About Dale
I have recently retired as an Assistant Principal in a state secondary school where I taught mainly A Level history for 14 years. Before this I was a head of faculty and have taught history for thirty six years. Observations of my teaching were always good or outstanding .I am passionate about history and my teaching reflects my deep knowledge of different periods In particular I have taught Russian in the 19th and 20th centuries, Tudor history, Lutheranism and the English Civil War. My focus is always on inspiring students to enjoy history, being an expert in any period that I am teaching and ensuring that students are confident and skillful in understanding how to achieve good grades. i always ensure that students know how to write essays and analyse historical sources..
