I am a highly efficient, experienced and enthusiastic teaching professional who is committed to promoting education to all. I am experienced in teaching Sociology, Psychology and Health and Social Care. I am committed to good practice and innovation and tailor my teaching to meet the needs of individuals. I have a 2:1 Honours Degree in Sociology Studies – Joint Psychology and Sociology from The University of Warwick and have over 20 years’ experience in education. I actively work to be engaged in continuous learning in order to broaden my knowledge and experience. I am an effective practitioner with a constructivist approach to teaching, beginning from your starting point rather than my own.
I am able to establish a supportive relationship with students, promoting and reinforcing independence and self-esteem.
I have vast experience of developing lessons for a wide range of students and have worked extensively with examining boards to mark exam papers.
