Experienced and Passionate Mathematics and Logic Tutor
Hi, my name is Chris and I've just completed my first year of a PhD in mathematical logic. I hold a first class honours degree in Mathematics from the University of Aberdeen. I was awarded multiple prizes whilst attending this institution and also graduated top of my year. Furthermore I hold an MSc in Pure Mathematics and Mathematical Logic with distinction from the University of Manchester. I am willing to teach Mathematics from primary school to undergraduate level as well as Logic which can be found in fields ranging from english to philosophy to mathematics.
I have extensive experience tutoring as I have been tutoring for the last 3 years. The ages I have taught range from 5 to 40 and cover all stages of learning from primary to tertiary education. I also have experience taking pupils successfully through grammar entrance exams.
I take a pupil centric approach, always adapting my teaching style to the needs and learning styles of my pupils. My ability and deep understanding of Mathematics and Logic allows me to readily change my explanations to ensure I explain things in a way which means my pupils obtain maximal understanding.
Chris has been and continues to be a great help with my studies. His understanding of the subject to an absolute core level is hard to find, and this is shown with his ability to break down any question with ease into an easier more digestible size. He is very flexible with his time and I look forward to my lessons with him every week.
An ever-growing and expanding knowledge of Mathematics.

Very impressed with Chris.
Pleasant, patient, knowledgeable and tailored the lesson to my daughter's needs.
She feels very reassured in a subject that does not come naturally to her and is very clear about how to revise and practise the subject
