About Christopher
I am a 26 year old who is full of positivity and enjoys making people smile. I enjoy going for a walks, photography and I love animals.
I have had over 10 years experience in educational environments from volunteering in schools since I was 16 and also working as a teaching assistant in schools and a tuition centre for nearly 3 years.
I have also tutored primary aged children for 3 years too. During my tutoring sessions, I would bring a white board and some worksheets. I tailor my sessions around the children's needs (and interests, if possible). If I need to encourage positive behaviour during the sessions, I create a reward chart for them, so they can work towards obtaining a treat. Sometimes I make specific worksheets for the individual child around their interests, if I feel I need to create something that will make the learning fun and motivate them more.
I also discuss with parents what they would like me to help their children achieve. After each session, I show or inform the parents what I did in the session. Also, parents are able to contact me in between sessions, if they need to discuss anything.

Christopher tutored both of my junior school age children for several years. Both were behind in English and Maths.
