About Chris
My name is Chris and I am currently studying for a master's in Global Politics at the London School of Economics and Political Science. I have always had a natural curiosity about the world and a related passion for learning. From the ages of four to twenty-four I have never been happier than when exploring a new subject area using whatever resources I have to hand.
However, I know from first hand experience of the English examination system that a love of learning is not always sufficient for success. Success in examinations requires possession of a toolkit of skills including: time management, efficient memorisation, clarity of written expression and targeted deployment of information. These are skills that I feel I have honed through a number of examinations none of which I have ever dropped below an A grade (or equivalent).
I know how hard exams can be and how stressful they can be for school age children. Having been through them I would love to be able to help guide those in whose shoes I once stood. I am prepared to tutor in Politics, English Literature and History as these are my fortes, however I am willing to consider other subjects.
I certainly have the academic qualifications to do a good job. I have a cluster of GCSEs and A Levels all of which I achieved either an A or A* in. Furthermore I hold a first class degree in history from the University of St Andrews and I anticipate achieving a distinction in my current master's degree. In the field of politics I also have practical experience working within Parliament. Moreover I believe that I have the teaching skills to do a good job. I have helped tutor a number of family friends to success at both GCSE and A Level. I believe my style to be enjoyable and challenging and I will never patronise or condescend a tutee.
I look forward to getting to know any future tutees and helping them to achieve the excellent results that I believe everyone is capable of!

Chris Kunkler was a very studious and diligent student of mine who progressed as far being Head of his House at school. A marvellous role model. I would recommend him wholeheartedly.
I had the pleasure of studying with Christopher for four years at our alma mater, St Andrews. He is a truly remarkable individual who managed to balance his extra curricular, charitable and academic commitments with equal commitment and success. This is exemplified in him managing to achieve first class honours, being president of a student association and working for Fixr. Beyond this Chris is a conscientious and thoughtful friend. I can't recommend him higher as a tutor for your service.
