About Charlotte
I am a reliable, enthusiastic and patient education studies graduate who enjoys working with children and helping them to achieve their potential. I am currently working as a supply teaching assistant. This has allowed me to gain experience of working in different educational settings and with different year groups. Over the last three years I have worked in a number of local primary schools, where I have adapted my teaching to suit the children's needs. I support children in literacy, numeracy and science as well as other primary subjects. I encourage children to engage with their work and if a child is struggling I will find ways to adapt my approach to make sure they can access the information. I am very passionate about the importance of reading and I have experience with teaching phonics to groups of key stage 1 children.
