About Charlie

Hello! My name is Charlie and I am a recent graduate of The Royal Central School of Speech and Drama's BA (Hons) Acting program. I also have a Bachelor of Arts from the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology, where I graduated with a First.

I am from Australia, and have a lot of experience travelling the world. I moved to London three years ago, as I was offered 1 of 16 places (from 4500 applicants) on the Acting program at The Royal Central School of Speech and Drama.

I have experience teaching primary school students English, Music and P.E, and I am passionate about helping children overcome any learning obstacles that they might have. Specifically, I tutor students who are preparing for their 11+ Exams.

I was the School Captain of Geelong Grammar School, Australia's largest co-educational boarding school. From my studies at both school and university, I know how important it is to have teachers that are inspiring and believe in you. In my tutoring, I am warm, open, down to earth and creative.

I am an actor, and have just finished four months of filming on Netflix's Medici, Masters of Florence. I have a love of language, reading and writing. The technical skills that I possess from my training mean that I can tutor students who are applying for drama school or studying Drama or Theatre at any level.

My actor training has also made me an expert at developing presentation skills. I can help your child with interview preparation, or anything that relates to building their confidence!

My three years at drama school and professional experience have taught me so many valuable life skills. So not only will I bring a practical knowledge of the subjects that I am teaching, but I also place an emphasis on building confident, free thinking and independent learners. I want my students to have fun while they are learning, and I will tailor my teaching to each individual pupil, helping them to reach their potential.

I also have a strong passion for music. Having played the drums for 15 years, I can tutor to an advanced level. I can also play the guitar and can tutor any students who want to start learning the instrument.

I hope to be the inspiring tutor that you are looking for!
