About Charlie
I am a current medical student at Imperial College School of Medicine I have completed the first part of my clinical training and am currently on year out taking part in research into a novel medical device at the Hamlyn Centre for Surgical Innovation within the Faculty of Medicine at Imperial College London. I have over four years of tutoring experience in various subjects. Recently I have focused on Biology and Chemistry A level, and additionally applications to medical school. My strengths as a tutor are my ability to relate to individual students needs, my experience, and approach to teaching. I am very much exam focused as, from my years of experience, this is the area students are most frequently let down by their schools. I also possess many transferable skills which I utilise in my teaching. I am a qualified instructor, and a coach to my medical school rowing team in my spare time. I am also president of the rowing club. All of these experiences have helped my develop my essential communication skills and empathy. I am looking to take on a few tutees in the run up to this years exam season to help them complete their preparation.

I have four years experience as a cadet instructor at my schools CCF unit. My role was to educate and instruct other cadets for two hours each week in academic courses and practical courses. I was responsible for lesson planning and delivery. To qualify, I undertook a residential course and earned the top grade in the formal qualification offered.

Perfect! Highly recommend.
Charlie came to help my daughter with some chemistry just before she started her science degree this year as she had not done Chemistry A level and she was afraid she may have some gaps. He came very well prepared with an excellent subject knowledge. He gave very clear explanations and was very patient and understanding when concepts weren't grasped first time! We would highly recommend him.
