Charis took part in a mentoring scheme for underachieving year 11 students at English Martyrs School in Leicester. She established a good working relationship with the students she mentored and was able to engage and motivate the students successfully. Charis is a reliable, empathetic and enthusiastic person who has good subject knowledge and is able to impart this knowledge successfully to others. She prepares well for sessions but is also able to think on her feet when the occasion requires it. The pupils responded well to her during after-school rehearsal sessions, being keen to improve under her guidance. Charis is able to work on her own with small groups and is keen to lead by example. Fantastic help at Tutorfair event
Charis was a great help at the Leicester event that the Tutorfair team attended to tell university students about how they can earn money and help others through working with us. She was cheerful, friendly and committed which was brilliant for us. I'm sure Charis will be equally good when tutoring one on one!
