I have nearly 20 years experience of French private tutoring. I take the time to get to know my clients and make learning lasting and fun.
My first language is French and I thought is one of Canada most prestigious College before moving to the UK in 1998. I then acted as a French Assistant in a British school for a year. Upon leaving that school to pursue a career in government relations, I kept a handful of private students.
Six years ago, I started freelancing as an Education consultant for the British Council. During those years, I have assessed over 1800 applications for language assistants positions and interviewed at least a third of those applicants. I am currently responsible for interviewing for Language Teacher Training scholarships for the British Council and the Department of Education, so basically, I am assessing who will be the future language teachers in the UK (particularly French). I know what makes a good teacher and a good lesson.
I believe my experience in the education sector, the fact that French is my first language as well as my qualification as a yoga teacher makes me a good tutor as I provide not only the knowledge but also the tools and skills to face those all too stressful exams.
