About Carmen
Hello!
I am a Primary School Teacher with expertise in teaching Italian.
I taught Italian to classrooms of 20+ students and I organized and managed L2 Projects (Italian Language Teaching) dedicated to foreign language students coming from different countries.
I am also specialized in Psychology, Sociology, Pedagogy, with a focus on Children Development.
In particular I am expert in managing children with Special Educational Needs.
My academic studies and my experiences taught me that to improve the learning process the best way is applying the learning by doing concept in a cooperative contest.
For my teaching approach I follow the theories of the Social constructivism movement; on the other hand, I really like to apply some theories from the Montessori method.
It's amazing how these theories are still actual nowadays!
