About Carlos
Hello, My name is Carlos. I am very passionate about mathematics: either teaching it, I have studied electrical engineering at the University Mayor de San Simon – Bolivia (Bachelor of Engineering), and maths has always been my strongest subject (Engineering Maths and Advanced Engineering Maths). I have taught for several years, on and off, as I have been pursuing other interests, like travelling. I have also studied IT Support/IT Support Analyst at 360 GSP College –London, and Web Design (HTML, Dreamweaver) at Bickenhall College of Computing – London.
My style can vary from informal to strict, depending on your preparation and motivation. Once you have understood a given topic, and become in a position to do the homework, I would expect you to try it and give it a very good go. Ask questions (please always do), take notes, try to get a general understanding of principles first. Then PRACTISE PRACTISE PRACTISE!
I have taught mathematics to many students in the past. More than half of them had been struggling before I had started teaching them. This is not surprising, as maths is almost universally acknowledged to be a challenging subject.
Apart from maths, I can also teach IT Support and I worked as Machine Engineer at The London Palace Superbowl (Palatial Leisure ).
