About Callum
I have just finished a degree in English and History at the University of York. I am capable of teaching English, History and Politics and related humanities subjects like Philosophy and Ancient History, both of which I have a personal interest in but have not formally studied. Aside from knowledge of these subjects I can provide excellent advice on essay writing, source analysis, close readings of texts, revision techniques and guidance on locating secondary literature. I have access to a huge range of academic resources which I would have appreciated a lot when I was studying for GCSE and A-Levels. Most importantly, I am enthusiastic about these subjects and I am motivated to see my pupils succeed. I have 5 brothers and sisters who I help with work all the time, so I know how to communicate with people of all ages. I hope I am the right teacher for you!
